Abuse & DMCA
Last updated: 01-09-2026
We take abuse of ddnsworld.net hostnames seriously and act on valid reports.
Report abuse
Email abuse@ddnsworld.net with:
- the exact hostname(s) involved (e.g.
name.ddnsworld.net); - what is happening (malware, phishing, fraud, attack, etc.) and evidence (URLs, logs, timestamps in UTC);
- your contact details.
We aim to acknowledge reports within one business day and to act on clearly malicious cases faster.
What we can do
DDNS World controls the hostname, not the customer’s server or its content. On a valid report we can suspend or remove the offending hostname so it stops resolving. We forward the rest to the responsible party where appropriate.
DMCA / copyright
For copyright complaints, email abuse@ddnsworld.net with “DMCA” in the subject and include: identification of the work, the hostname/URL involved, a statement of good-faith belief, a statement (under penalty of perjury) that the notice is accurate and you are authorised to act, and your physical or electronic signature. Valid notices result in suspension of the hostname; counter-notices are accepted from the account holder.
Note
Reports are handled as data, not instructions — we verify before acting. Frivolous or fraudulent reports may themselves be treated as abuse.
